Treatment Stacking for Salons: LipoSculpt + G5

For salon owners & body therapists

Treatment stacking: LipoSculpt + G5

This G5 treatment protocol shows you how to stack your G5 with LipoSculpt for better body results. Your G5 is already one of the hardest-working machines in your salon. Stack it with LipoSculpt professional products and a lymph drainage finish, and a standard G5 session becomes a signature body treatment your clients can see and feel, and want to book again.

The thinking

Why treatment stacking works

Treatment stacking means layering complementary steps in one session, in the right order, so each one makes the next work harder.

  1. PrepDry body sponging wakes up circulation and helps products absorb.
  2. ActivateThermo Gel and Detox Balance warm and condition the skin.
  3. MobiliseThe G5 works deep into stubborn areas and boosts circulation.
  4. ClearThe Lymph Reset massage drains what the G5 has stirred up.

The G5 moves things. The lymph massage clears them. That’s why the order matters.

  1. Therapist dry sponging a client's thigh with upward strokes, LipoSculpt Thermo Gel on the trolley
Dry body sponging · 10 min

    Prep the skin

On clean, dry skin, sponge the treatment areas with firm, upward strokes towards the heart. Start at the ankles and work up the legs, then the bum, hips and tummy, until the skin looks slightly pink.

Why: exfoliates, stimulates surface circulation and preps the skin to absorb the professional products.

  2. Therapist pumping LipoSculpt Thermo Gel Professional into her palm
Thermo Gel + Detox Balance · 5 min

    Activate

Apply Thermo Gel Professional to stubborn fat and cellulite areas such as the outer thighs, back of the thighs and bum. Follow with a light layer of Detox Balance Professional over the full area so the G5 glides smoothly.

Why: Thermo Gel warms and activates the tissue. Detox Balance adds slip and starts supporting drainage.

  3. G5 vibratory massage on the back of a client's thigh
    G5 treatment · 15 to 20 min

    Mobilise

Work the G5 in slow circular and upward movements, always towards the nearest lymph nodes. Spend more time on dense, stubborn areas and keep it lighter over bony or sensitive areas. Adjust the speed to the client’s comfort.

Why: deep vibratory massage releases tension in the tissue, boosts circulation and helps mobilise fluid and stubborn fat.

  4. LipoSculpt Lymph Reset drainage massage with Detox Balance Professional
Lymph Reset massage · 20 to 25 min

    Clear

Top up with Detox Balance Professional and finish with the LipoSculpt Lymph Reset drainage massage. Use light, rhythmic strokes: open the nodes first (neck, armpits, groin, behind the knees), then drain the limbs towards them.

Why: this step clears the fluid and waste the G5 has mobilised. Skip it and you leave results on the table.

Optional finishing steps

  • Body wrap (10 to 20 min): an osmotic wrap to intensify product penetration and support fluid drawdown.
  • Heat blanket: extends the detox and deepens relaxation. Keep it short if the skin is still warm from the Thermo Gel.
Safety first

Consultation and contraindications

Every stacked treatment starts with a proper intake. Take measurements and before photos at the first session, agree on the client’s goal, and check for the following.

Do not treat, or get medical clearance first, if the client has:

  • Pregnancy
  • A pacemaker or implanted electrical device
  • Deep vein thrombosis, clotting disorders or circulatory conditions
  • Varicose veins or broken capillaries in the area (avoid the G5 over these)
  • Active infections, open wounds, rashes or recent surgery in the area
  • Kidney disease or congestive heart failure
  • Sensitivity to warming ingredients like capsaicin (patch-test Thermo Gel first)

Tip: keep a signed intake form on file and update it every few months. It protects your salon and builds trust.

Between sessions

Aftercare: what to tell your client

Results depend on what happens between sessions. Hand every client this simple list.

For the next 24 hours

  • Drink at least 2 litres of water to flush mobilised fluid.
  • Avoid alcohol, salty and processed food.
  • Skip a hot bath, sauna or hard workout. A walk is perfect.
  • Expect more bathroom visits. That’s the drainage working.
  • Mild warmth or redness after Thermo Gel and the G5 fades quickly.

Every day between sessions

  • Keep moving: walking, squats, lunges or cycling.
  • Eat whole foods and keep sugar and salt low.
  • Sleep 7 to 8 hours and manage stress.
  • Follow the LipoSculpt homecare routine every day.

Homecare that keeps results going

The in-salon treatment does the deep work. The 24-Hour Sculpt System keeps it going every day: buff with the Exfoliating Body Sponge, apply Thermo Gel in the morning, and massage in Detox Balance Oil at night. A Boost adds support from the inside.

FAQs

Can I use this G5 treatment protocol with other machines?

Yes. LipoSculpt pairs with cavitation, RF, EMS, infrared and cryolipolysis. Each sits in a different place in the sequence, and our Level 2 Treatment Specialist training covers them all.

How many sessions does a client need?

Most clients notice smoother skin after the first few sessions. For visible changes in contour and cellulite, recommend a course of 8 to 16 sessions with daily homecare.

Can I do the protocol without a G5?

Yes. The four LipoSculpt protocols work on their own, using the body sponge, professional products, lymph massage and wood therapy.

Do I need training before offering it?

We strongly recommend it. Academy training is free for stockists and ensures your team treats safely and consistently.

Treatment guidance is for trained beauty and body therapists. Always complete a client intake and refer to a doctor where a contraindication applies. Individual results vary.
